Get ready for a journey into the mind of Mike Maryniuk, the latest free spirit from the Winnipeg Film Group, accompanied by his hero, The Goose, a mute young man sporting a freakish haircut. Tired of being the punching bag of the village oafs, he finds his liberation in ventriloquism, time travel by fax, trippy conversations, stop-motion animation, vintage computers and arcade games. Maryniuk manipulates imagery like a maestro, layering on techniques in a delirious jumble. His sense of humour is equal parts geeky and experimental and his esthetic is pure punk.
