How to come ?

You want to attend the Festival du nouveau cinema but don't know the region? No worries. Whether its to travel to Montreal or roam around the city, here is a guide that should steer you in the right direction.

BY CAR

The principal access road towards Montreal

Highway 20 Eastbound from Ontario

Take Highway 20 to the Ville-Marie Tunnel, which goes under the downtown. Once you are in the tunnel, look for the exit ("sortie") marked "boul. Saint-Laurent".

Highway 40 Eastbound from Ontario

Take the exit ("sortie") marked "boul. Décarie Sud". Stay on the Décarie until you reach the exit marked "Montréal, Centre-ville". Take the exit and continue until you reach the Ville-Marie Tunnel, which goes under the downtown. Once you are in the tunnel, look for the exit marked "boul. Saint-Laurent".

Highway 40 Westbound from Eastern Quebec

Take the exit ("sortie") marked "boul. Saint-Laurent Sud" and continue driving south. Saint-Laurent Boulevard runs into Clark Street, which turns into Saint-Urbain one-way going south. Continue along Saint-Urbain (10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic) to Sherbrooke Street. The Ex-Centris theatre is located one street west of Saint-Urbain, on Saint-Laurent, just above Sherbrooke.

Highways 10 and 15 from the Eastern Townships and the United States

Cross the Champlain Bridge and take the exit ("sortie") marked "Montréal, Centre-ville", located on the right. Continue to the Ville-Marie Tunnel, which goes under the downtown. Once you are in the tunnel, look for the exit ("sortie") marked "boul. Saint-Laurent".
