El Santo films maintain a firm foothold in the pantheon of international cult films. Shot at the same time as Santo vs Evil Brain, this second film starring the legendary masked wrestler is a rarity. It is a historically important film, and not only because it was shot in Cuba on the eve of the revolution. Here, the character of the famous masked brawler is still in its early stages, before becoming a star of Mexican popular cinema in the over 50 sequels that followed.
