Experimentation. Transcendence. Rapture.
FINLAND | 91 minutes | 2018
The debut feature by Finnish singer and artist Anna Eriksson explores the relationship between death and sexuality, two concepts that seem to be opposed in nature but unite in each of us. We follow the character of Marilyn Monroe, played by the director, through a series of fictitious events. The death of Marilyn - as legendary as her personality - feeds many myths in popular culture. A work of art with striking images that linger long in the memory and reflect on death and sexuality as an integral part of humanity. NORTH AMERICAN PREMIEREQ&A with the filmmaker on October 6th
