Lysanne Thibodeau’s body of work is an incandescent fresco coloured with subtle tensions hovering between the intimate and the universal. Her cinema explores all genres; they question the fragile link of the individual and the many trodden paths they take, often painful, illuminating our relationship to memory and the collective. Her films are humanistic and serve as a beacon in the dark.
